Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) in technical collaboration with the Animal Husbandry In-service Training Institute (AHITI) is organizing a one-week residential training program in ‘Dairy Products Processing’. The program will be comprised of lectures, practical demonstration and exposure visits.
AHITI is the first and the only training institute of its kind in the country. It was established by the provincial government of NWFP in cooperation of IPC Livestock Oenkerk, the Netherlands. The institute offers wide range of practical and theoretical training programs.

Topics: |
Introduction to dairy technology, feeding factors affecting milk production, composition and hygienic production of milk, pasteurization, cheese and yogurt making, cream separation, dairy farm management etc. |
Course Fee: |
Total fee to be charged by the Institute will cover course fee, accommodation, meals, exposure visits, training material and stationary. ASF shall share 50% of the course fee with all participants and as a result, each participant shall have to pay Rs. 3,500/- only. Furthermore ASF will also pay travel allowances for participants coming from other cities. |
