Specifications of Screen Houses to be constructed under the program
The proposed facility will have the functions of propagating the bud wood in controlled atmosphere (foundation block), raising mother plants (rootstock) in screen houses and grafting. Two screen houses will be constructed for Foundation Block and multiplication of root stock respectively. The area of each screen house will be 100'(L) × 30'(W) ×15'(H) sq. ft.
Foundation Block
One Screen House: 100(L) x 30(W)ft - 15ft. high
Must have
- S.S Mesh Walls (Stainless Steel Mesh of Gauge 30x 30 holes per square inch)
2” × 1 ½” M.S pipe connected with 1” × 1” square pipe
The structure fixed in M.S 1:2:4 columns to protect structure from strong wind pressure.
Two doors size 6’ × 7.5’ S.S mesh fixed on main structure with metal plates and bolts.
To protect sunlight 60 % shade net with manual winches for proper rolling of net either side
- Mist control system consisting of Micro jet nozzle (Micro M. Droplet), G.I pipe, Fittings, Pumping Station, Pressure Tank 150 Psi with timer control/ manually operated with complete hanging system

Screen house side walls brick work with plaster cement.
Concrete Floor with Double side water drainage

Electric panel with Amp meter, circuit breakers, main circuit breaker with starter switch, light switch control, with electric cable (three core) panel to pump, PVC pipe fitting,
Energy savers with shade cover inside the screen house with PVC pipe wiring

One Screen House: 100(L) x 30(W) sq.ft - 15ft. high
Same specifications as for Screen House in Foundation Block (SS Mesh walls, Structure, Mist/ Drip System, Civil Works and Electric Works) with the addition of G.I trays (size 5’ × 5’) movable on T pipe structure with wheel coaster
