Farmer enterprise group
is one of the categories of Agribusiness Support Fund. ASF
provides support in creating Agribusiness Enterprises by organizing
small farmers in shape of farmer enterprise groups. To support
the formation / creation of farmer enterprise group, ASF finances
100% of establishing FEG’s formation cost. The formation
of farmer groups is outsourced to the eligible organization
including RSP’s and other NGO’s having experience
in the creation of farmer enterprise groups or similar groups
for both community mobilization and credit delivery as well
as linkages to agribusinesses.

Farmer enterprise groups established by
these NGO / RSP’s under the terms of MOU are supposed
to be engaged in or proposing to become engaged in the production,
supply, processing and marketing of the agricultural produce
for the purchase of eligible services.
